Site Preparation

A level site is necessary for delivery and set-up of Shed Row Barns and Run-In Sheds. Since these barns are built on 6'x6' pressure treated skids, they will withstand many years of direct ground contact.

A gravel base will enhance the drainage around your building, especially the Shed Row Barns with stalls. Fine Gravel or preferably Blue Stone 6"-8" in depth and 2' additional around the barn's perimeter is recommend. Some townships require concrete piers or that the building is anchored for safety reasons. The customer is responsible to check with all municipal agencies and obtaining all necessary permits and inspections.
